Science within reach of your skin
I am passionate about dermatology and skin care at all ages. To do this, I put the latest scientific knowledge and cutting-edge medical devices at your disposal. I am committed to the health of my patients’ skin, and to achieve this, I constantly update myself with the latest scientific advancements.
I was born in Barcelona and graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona in 2010. I did my MIR training in Dermatology and Venereology at the University Hospital of Bellvitge (l’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona) between 2011 and 2015. During that time, I furthered my training in dermatopathology at the University of California, San Francisco, in pediatric dermatology at the Hospital Universitari Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona, and in the Sexually Transmitted Diseases Unit at CAP Drassanes-Vall d’Hebron in Barcelona.
I am a doctor from the University of Barcelona with an outstanding qualification cum laude. I completed my training with the International Master’s Degree in Aesthetic Dermatology from the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares, and with the Master’s Degree in Dermopharmacy from the Miguel Hernández University, as well as different courses and workshops on laser and aesthetic dermatology since 2014. I have published several articles in scientific journals since the beginning of my training.
I am also a founding member of the scientific dissemination platform Dermothèque, established in 2018, where, along with three dermatologists, we create content about aesthetic and cosmetic dermatology for social media (Instagram @dermotheque) and in podcast format (Dermothèque, a dermatology podcast) Thanks to this work, we have participated in television programs, radio broadcasts, podcasts, and print media.
In the private sphere, I carry out my activity at the Corium Dermatology Clinic in Barcelona, where I am dedicated to improving the quality of my patients’ skin through the use of laser devices. I specialise in the treatment of blemishes, photorejuvenation, vascular lesions and couperose, scars, and benign tumours, as well as acne, melasma and rosacea.
I currently practise public dermatology at the Hospital Clínic in Barcelona, where I direct the monographic consultation on contact dermatitis, and I am also a specialist in atopic dermatitis and urticaria. I am also a member of the Pharmacovigilance Technical Committee of the same hospital. In addition, I am a clinical lecturer in undergraduate medical teaching at the University of Barcelona.
